Ariana Grande has yet to publicly comment on the passing of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, who was reportedly found dead of an apparent overdose on Friday.
As difficult as it might ordinarily be to share a sentiment about something so tragic, the increasingly prevalent twisted nature of social media may keep Ari silent even longer.
The God Is A Woman singer, who dated Miller for nearly two years before getting engaged to Pete Davidson this Summer, just disabled her Instagram comments.
And no wonder. Within minutes of the news breaking, she was hit with a slew of horrible messages, many of which were screen grabbed beforehand.
These comments included:
“Macs gone because of you”
“you did this”
“it’s your fault”
“It’s crazy because you really did kill him”
“this is your fault.”
“You did this to him, smh”
“YOU KILLED HIM!!!”
Just disgusting. How anyone could say that to someone is beyond us.
We hope Ari takes whatever time she needs to mourn in private. She owes these IG trolls nothing.
