Anthony Hopkins has received his first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine!
The 83-year-old Oscar-winning actor took to Twitter on Thursday (January 28) to share a video of him receiving the vaccine while sitting in the passenger seat of a car.
“THANK YOU 🙏🏻,” Anthony tweeted, along with shout-outs to LA County’s Public Health department, CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, and his “dear friend, Dr. Maria Teresa Ochoa.”
Anthony concluded the tweet by saying, “Light at the end of the tunnel (after one year of self imposed quarantine).”
It’s been an exciting month for Anthony because the 30th anniversary of his movie Silence of the Lambs just passed and he reunited with the film’s star, Jodie Foster, to reflect on the movie’s success.
He also talked about how he originally thought the script was for a children’s movie.
