Angellica Bell ‘forgets PANTS’ prior to The One Show gig as she takes over from Alex Jones

Angellica Bell will replace Alex Jones on The One Show this evening and will front the programme for the next three weeks. It comes days after the mother-of-one bid a temporary farewell the BBC One viewers, as she prepares to welcome her second child with husband Charlie Thomson. The show’s latest presenter is one of many famous faces expected to take their spot on the sofa, before the Welsh star, 42, returns. However, things didn’t quite go to plan for the 43-year-old during a different work commitment two days ago, when she joined forced with Scarlett Moffatt.

Scarlett Moffatt even had pity on me when I forgot my pants… and then told everyone!

The issue came to light after Angellica gushed about the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! winner in view of 18,000 Instagram followers.

She was seen posing with the ex Gogglebox favourite, 29, as they pouted away down the lens.

But it was in the caption that the the wife of Michael Underwood revealed she had shockingly “forgot her pants”.

“Too many laughs today sharing a dressing room with the #QueenoftheJungle @scarlettmoffatt,” Angellica started.

The star continued: “She even had pity on me when I forgot my pants… and then told everyone! Anyway pants-gate got sorted and we had a blast filming.

“Scarlett you’re brill and sorry if I talked too much Babz! #television #filming #goodtimes #dressingroom.”(sic)

Scarlett quickly replied: “I bl**dy love you xxxx,” to which her co-star on the mystery project teased a possible reunion.

Angellica wrote: “I love you more Babz. Love to your mum and dad. Remember our car chat – let’s do this! X.”

Wearing her tresses down in a loose wave, she had opted for dark patterned trousers and a loose-fitting black top.

The reality star meanwhile chose a printed brown shirt while clutching her phone in her hand for what appeared to be an office-based picture.

Angellica had previously informed: “Full day filming for a BBC show in Glasgow today and here’s what I wore earlier.

“Love this jumpsuit from @mintvelvet – who doesn’t love a bit of #leopardprint.”

It comes after she was confirmed to be the first stand-in presenter for The One Show during Alex’s maternity leave.

She will be followed by Angela Scanlon, The Voice UK’s Emma Willis as well as the likes of Stacey Dooley and Michelle Ackerley.

Alex stated: “I know The One Show will be in very capable hands while I’m on maternity leave and good luck to all the guest presenters – I hope they have as much fun as I do on the show.

“I’ll be back on the sofa in the autumn, but in the meantime, I plan on watching from my own sofa with little Teddy and the newest addition!”

The One Show airs weekdays at 7pm on BBC One.
