Amy Schumer is clearing her name.
According to a social media post on Wednesday, the pregnant funny lady says Reddit commenters are accusing her of stealing a bit from deceased comedian Patrice O’Neal about bizarre sex acts.
The Inside Amy Schumer star previously denied the allegation in 2015, saying she “never” saw his set.
In her post, the 37-year-old reiterates her point, saying she didn’t see O’Neal’s comedy special because it “only aired in Canada in 2007” as far as she knows. Although both comics talked about “the ‘David Blaine’ or the ‘Houdini,”‘ Schumer contends she has “never stolen a joke in life.”
She wrote:
In January 2016, after being accused of stealing additional material from comics such as Kathleen Madigan, Wendy Liebman, and Tammy Pescatelli, Amy appeared on Jim Norton‘s radio show and said was willing to take a polygraph test to dispel the rumors.
