Rose – a mother of two – debuted a forehead tattoo of son Sebastian ‘Bash’, seven, and baby boy Slash’s names last week.
The SlutWalk founder said that the basketball player’s death made her realize how precious life is.
‘I gotta be honest. And I don’t want this to sounds corny or whatever,’ she said. ‘After Kobe died… it made me reflect on my life. And I don’t want people to be like “Oh Kobe died and you went and got a tattoo.” But it was kind of like that.’
Her own personal experiences with loss colored her perspective too.
‘My dad had cancer when he was like 40,’ Amber revealed. ‘And he went through remission and he’s good, but he almost died and I’m 36 and I was like I’ve been wanting this tattoo for a long time.’

It was all those things that convinced her to follow her heart.
‘…I was like “Life is so short,” just do it. Just live your best life. It’s just like — with no regrets. That’s just how I felt and I’m happy I did it.’
The Slutwalk founder made it clear she had ‘no regrets’ as she shared an empowering selfie which declared ‘beauty is not what’s on the outside’ earlier this week.
Amber was certainly feeling herself in the sexy lingerie photo, which was captioned: ‘Beauty is not what’s on the outside…. it’s what’s on the inside that counts. Inside of my p***y and inside of my heart.’

Shocked: Amber’s ink has already caught some slack from talk show host Wendy Williams, who thinks the body art has ‘ruined’ the beauty’s face
Amber’s ink has already caught some slack from talk show host Wendy Williams.
Wendy didn’t hold back, telling audiences ‘Amber you know I love you girl, but, why would you ruin your forehead?’ – eliciting gasps from the audience.
Amber sent her own form of a clapback online Wednesday morning and addressed fans and foes of her artistic display.
‘For the people that are telling me I’m too pretty for a face tat are the same people that would tell me that I’m “too pretty” even if they thought I was ugly and lie to me Lol Or they would just tell me I’m ugly,’ she wrote. ‘So either way, the moral of the story is to whatever the f**k you want in life. – Muva.’
