Amber appeared on the ITV chat show last week alongside fellow Love Island winner and beau Greg O’Shea, 24.

The Newcastle native impressed bosses during her interview so much so that they asked her back to the panel.

A show insider told the publication: ‘She is opinionated, outspoken and sassy – all the ingredients to be a perfect Loose Woman. Bosses are excited to see how it goes.

‘Her appearance was a real hit and viewers loved her, so it’s well worth giving her a shot at asking the questions.’

According to reports, the beautician, 21, will follow in the footsteps of fellow Love Island stars Kem Cetinay and Wes Nelson on the hit ITV skating show.

Dancing On Ice bosses are reportedly said to be ‘delighted’ by the decision and that they believe the hairdresser will be ‘excellent viewing’.

‘Love Island contestants always do really well on the series as they are still fresh in everyone’s minds.

MailOnline has contacted ITV for comment.

If the reports are true, Amber will follow in the footsteps of previous Love Island stars Kem Cetinay and Wes Nelson, who appeared on the 2018 and 2019 series of Dancing On Ice.

Kem, who won Love Island 2017 with ex-girlfriend Amber Davies, got eliminated on the ITV show during the semi-finals, while Wes, who appeared on Love Island 2018, finished in second place on the skating programme.

The reports come after Greg returned home to Limerick, Ireland, without Amber on Wednesday and he revealed in an exclusive interview with MailOnline that all ‘his eggs are in her basket’.

The rugby player insisted he ‘definitely will be faithful’ to Amber as he revealed how he’d begged her to join him on his homecoming trip, but explained that she didn’t come with him because she’s ‘so busy’ in Britain.

People of all ages were at Shannon Airport for Greg’s homecoming with a number of girls keen to grab the hunk’s attention.

But, the Love Island star stressed that his head would not be turned, insisting: ‘I definitely will be faithful, I’ve always been a one woman kind of guy and Amber is a great girl.

Happy: A source told The Sun: ‘The Dancing On Ice casting team are delighted with the decision to snap up Amber.’

‘I’m lucky to come out with her so I can’t wait to get her over here to meet my family and friends.

‘To use the Love Island phrase, all my eggs are in Amber’s basket right now, I’m only looking at her.’

The pair have spent time with Amber’s loved ones in Newcastle since leaving the villa, but the beautician chose not to join her beau for his return to Ireland.

Greg revealed: ‘I asked her about fifty times to come home with me but she’s so busy, everybody in Britain wants a bit of Amber, I’ll get her over very soon’.

When that time does come, the rugby star is keen to give Amber her first pint of Guinness at an ‘old man pub’.

They added: ‘Amber is a stunning girl and they know she’ll look fabulous in all the sequinned costumes. She has a gutsy personality, too, so will make excellent viewing’

He said: ‘I’ll have to bring her round to one of the pubs, one of the quiet old man pubs and give her a pint of Guinness, bring her for a walk, nothing too fancy.

‘You might think she’s a fancy girl but she likes the simple things of being around me and having fun’.

Since winning the fifth series and bagging half of the £50k prize money, Greg has received numerous TV offers but admitted he has no plans to return to reality TV in the near future.

The rugby player, and trainee lawyer revealed that he has more of an interest in working with health and fitness brands, and doesn’t plan on doing nightclub appearances.

He said: ‘I’m seeing what brands would like to work with me, I’d like to get into the health sector and the training side of things, obviously legal down the road but I have to qualify first.

‘Standing in front of nightclubs at two in the morning doesn’t go with what I’m about, nothing against people that do that but it’s not me.’

Returning to rugby and continuing his studies are still very important to the Limerick native, and he insisted: ‘Rugby is my first love.’
