Amanda Holden was in no rush to shed her Queen of Hearts persona on World Book Day as she left her duties at Heart FM.
Exiting the studios on Thursday, the TV and radio presenter, 50, channelled the Alice in Wonderland monarch, but added some showbiz glam to the look with a pair of dark shades.
Putting on a leggy display, the Britain’s Got Talent judge wore a card-inspired dress, complete with a dramatic collar and dipped hemline.

The mother-of-two boosted her figure in black ankle boots, while a spiked crown served as her key accessory.
Amanda maintained the red theme by sporting classic lipstick and drew a small black heart underneath her left eye.
Clearly having had a fun morning, she was seen strutting out of the Global Studios office, in great spirits.
Co-hosts Ashley Roberts and Jamie Theakston became Alice and The Mad Hatter respectively for the occassion.

World Book Day has been observed on the first Thursday in March since 1995 in the UK.
A set of books are released for £1 each year, with Tom Fletcher’s There’s a Wolf in Your Book and Luna Loves World Book Day written by Joseph Coelho leading this year’s line-up.

Amanda celebrated her milestone 50th birthday last month, and thanked her husband Chris Hughes and daughters Lexi, 15, and Hollie, nine, for making her day special.
The TV star wrote on Instagram: ‘How did this happen! Half a century… time flies! Thank you for all your kind & loving messages today. My husband Chris and my gorgeous girls have spoiled me rotten and it’s still going.
‘My friends have sent the most hilarious messages & presents and made this day extra special.’ (sic)
The media personality and the record producer tied the knot at St Margaret’s Church in Somerset back in December 2008.
