Louder Than Life, the annual festival celebrating “Rock music and whiskey” released its revised lineup for this year.
Initially scheduled to be headlined by Avenged Sevenfold, the festival was compelled to change their plans after the band’s vocalist, M. Shadows caught a viral infection which required vocal rest, thus being forced to cancel all shows, including their much-awaited Summer tour.
They have been replaced by Alice in Chains for whom the show will coincide nicely with the release of their latest studio album, Rainier Fog, which is scheduled to be released on August 24.
The impressive lineup also includes Nine Inch Nails, Five Finger Death Punch and Deftones.
The three-day festival will kick off on September 28 at Champions Park, Louisville, Kentucky.
