AJ Pritchard delivers scathing put-down to Love Island’s Anna after she brands his brother Curtis a ‘narcissist’

He’s stood by his brother throughout the course of Love Island. 

So AJ Pritchard wasted no time taking aim at Islander Anna Vakili after she branded his younger sibling Curtis a ‘narcissist’ in Wednesday’s show.

The Strictly Come Dancing professional, 24, rushed to defend his brother by tweeting a dictionary definition of the term narcissist, after Curtis, 23, and the pharmacist, 28, locked horns.

Addressing his 109,000 followers, AJ tweeted: ‘Does Anna know the Definition of / narcissistic/ˌnɑːsɪˈsɪstɪk.

‘Learn to pronounce…adjective….having or showing an excessive interest in or admiration of oneself and one’s physical appearance.’

His comments came after Anna confronted Curtis for advising her boyfriend Jordan Hames, 24, to talk to India, 28, about his feelings for her, before consulting Anna.

During the chat, Anna seethed: ‘You’re not a good person. Good people don’t move like that.’

When Curtis told her he cared about her, Anna replied: ‘You obviously don’t care at all. You’re a narcissist.’

She then went back to the others and said: ‘He’s not saying sorry because he genuinely cares about me, he’s doing it to make himself feel better.’ 

Curtis was also forced defend his advice to girlfriend Maura Higgins, 28, after she confronted him and blasted him for getting involved.

Viewers were quick to take to Twitter and also voice their opinions about Curtis, none of them particularly glowing.

‘Curtis is trash. He’s a cheater. It shows and Maura should run away while she can,’ one person posted, as another typed: ‘Curtis is a p***k endorsing Jordan’s behaviour wow Amy got a lucky escape!’

Another penned: ‘Jordan and Curtis are toxic men that can’t handle girls’ emotions.’

‘Curtis is actually the devil, the way he encourages people to do things it’s actually scary,’ another tweeted. 

‘Get in the bin!’ Viewers were quick to take to Twitter and voice their opinions about Curtis, none of them particularly glowing

Someone else wrote: ‘Curtis is a sociopath, there’s literally no real emotion in him at all. He reacts so weirdly when people try and reason with him too. Stay away Maura.’

‘Love how Curtis is claiming this is his fault because he always has to be the centre of attention,’ someone else posted, followed by another who typed: ‘Curtis proving he’s a even bigger d**k than we realised.’

‘Anna is spot on – Curtis only does stuff to make himself look good. I reckon he’s a psychopath and feels no genuine emotion or empathy for anyone,’ another person posted.

Curtis and Maura were nearly sent home at the end of Wednesday’s episode, narrowly avoiding being dumped when Anna, Jordan, Chris Taylor and Harley Brash were axed instead.
