It was something of a family affair when Adele made her stage comeback on Friday night.

Her ex-husband, businessman Simon Konecki, and current boyfriend, sports agent Rich Paul, were seen together for the first time as they watched the 34-year-old perform in Hyde Park in Central London.

The pair, accompanied by Adele’s nine-year-old son Angelo, were spotted chatting in the VIP area, where they were joined by actress Cameron Diaz, presenter Lorraine Kelly, comedian James Corden and his wife Julia Carey.

Tom Cruise also kicked off his birthday celebrations at the packed concert, which opened with the hit single Hello and closed with When We Were Young.

The Top Gun actor, who turns 60 today, was presented with a cake after heading backstage after the gig, with Adele singing Happy Birthday to him. An onlooker said: ‘Tom was having a ball, it was the perfect way to start his big birthday celebrations. He seemed touched that so many people were wishing him well for his special day.’

The Hollywood superstar will continue the festivities at the Grand Prix at Silverstone today alongside film producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who is researching Formula 1 for a forthcoming movie, due to be screened on Apple TV.

On Friday, Adele also paid tribute to the mutual friend in the crowd who introduced her to Paul, with whom she now lives in LA.

The singer confessed on stage that she is in love with the 40-year-old multi-millionaire basketball agent, whom she started dating last year, adding that she was ‘obsessed’.
