Adele's diamond ring from Rich Paul 'worth over half a million pounds'

Rolling in the cash! Adele’s ‘engagement ring from fiancé Rich Paul is an 8ct pear cut diamond on a fine platinum band worth over half a million pounds’

She’s reportedly engaged to boyfriend Rich Paul.

And it appears it cost him a pretty penny as the diamond ring Adele has been wearing is allegedly worth over half a million pounds.

The singer, 34, and her sports agent beau, 41, are said to be planning a summer wedding, two years after going public with their relationship.

Alexandra Michell, Gemologist Prestige Pawnbrokers of Channel 4’s Posh Pawn revealed that Adele’s ring could be worth a huge chunk of change.

She said: ‘Adele is rocking an approx. 8cts pear cut diamond on a fine platinum band and simple 4 claw setting.

Wow! Adele’s engagement ring is reportedly worth over half a million pounds

‘The band itself is pave set with small round brilliants either side of the centre stone. A beautiful design where the pear shape stone diamond really stands out.

‘If this 8cts stone is D colour and IF clarity grade, the price tag would easily top over half a million pounds.’

The happy news was revealed by online gossip site Deux Moi, who said that the claims had come from a ‘very reliable source’.

Fueling the fresh reports, Adele could be seen wearing a huge diamond ring on her wedding finger at her latest Las Vegas show over the weekend.

The Easy On Me hitmaker has been wearing the sparkler since as early as last February, when she debuted the ring at the BRIT Awards in 2022.

While this suggests the couple have been engaged for at least a year, they have never officially confirmed that they are set to tie the knot.

MailOnline have reached out to Adele’s representatives for comment.

Adele and Rich last publicly appeared together at the Superbowl earlier this month, where she once again became a meme while sat in the stands with her beau.

The star could be seen saying ‘she’ll be fine, she’ll smoke some weed and she’ll be fine’, referencing Rihanna’s halftime performance, before discovering that the singer was pregnant.

Prior to this, the couple looked as loved-up as ever as they posed for snaps at the Grammy Awards.

While Adele tends to keep her private life out of the spotlight, she has been very openly in declaring her love for Rich.

In December she paid tribute to her rumoured fiance by dedicating a song to him during one of her Vegas shows.

The Someone Like You singer sang Happy Birthday to him during her set.

She added: ‘And I love him more than life itself, so can we wish him happy birthday? His name’s Rich!’

Adele has been performing at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace for her Weekends With Adele residency, which kicked off in November.

She mentioned Rich again during a show when she joked that he was ‘livid’ after a fan tried to give her his phone number during a concert.

The songstress cleared up the rumours during her performance as she insisted that the concert goer in question was actually ‘trying to sell her a car’.

Despite explaining the funny exchange, she later joked that her boyfriend Rich wasn’t impressed.

In a clip, a man can be seen trying to pass Adele a note as she made her way through the crowd, with the singer giggling and handing it back.

The following day during her show, she cleared up the gossip and explained: ‘Someone texted me something this morning saying that a guy tried to give me his number last night when I was walking through this way.

‘He wasn’t, he was just trying to make me buy a car from him, [which] was actually what he was doing,’ she laughed, in the clip shared by concert goer Jorge Preciado.

She proceeded to tell the audience about how her other half reacted when she told him what happened.

‘I told my boyfriend, he was livid… He was like, “that man’s getting put to sleep”,’ she quipped.

During an Elle interview in August, Adele has revealed her dream is to be a ‘homemaker’, as she revealed plans for marriage and children with boyfriend Rich.

Adele said post-Vegas will be all about family as she gushed about life with Rich in a rare public display of affection, saying she’s as ‘happy as I’ll ever be’.

At the time, Adele starred in a stunning global cover shoot for the October 2022 issue of ELLE UK.

The superstar and the multi-millionaire agent first met at a party a few years ago, and took their relationship public in the summer of 2021.

The musician was previously wed to charity entrepreneur Simon Konecki, the father of her nine-year-old son Angelo, marrying in 2018 and separating the same year.

‘I’ve never been in love like this,’ Adele gushed to ELLE of Rich. ‘I’m obsessed with him. I definitely want more kids.

‘I’m a homemaker and I’m a matriarch, and a stable life helps me with my music,’ she added. ‘But right now, all I got in my brain is Vegas. I wanna f**king nail it.’

The star remained coy about rumours she and Rich are currently engaged though, telling ELLE that she ‘absolutely’ wants to get married again.

She coyly added: ‘Well! Well. Well, I’m not married’ when asked if the ring she’s been wearing recently is an engagement diamond.

In May 2022 Adele moved in with boyfriend Rich, who manages the likes of NBA star LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Ben Simmons, among other athletes, after a year of dating as she shared a snap of them outside their new home.

Before that it was claimed the vocal powerhouse was splashing out ‘$58million’ on a fourth property – Sylvester Stallone’s Beverly Hills mega mansion which sat on the market for the better part of the year. And now the home has revealed to be a new love nest for the singer and her boyfriend.

Ha! She mentioned Rich again during a show when she joked that he was ‘livid’ after a fan tried to give her his phone number during a concert

During a past interview with Rolling Stone, Adele described her relationship with Rich as being the most ‘incredible, openhearted, and easiest’ one she’s ever been in.

While they have only been seeing each other since last summer, the pair actually met for the first time at a friend’s birthday party several years before.

They would later reconnect in June 2021, with Adele saying: ‘I didn’t really tell many of my friends at the beginning because I wanted to keep it to myself.

They put their love on display when they attended the NBA Finals as a couple in July, and again at LeBron James’ wife’s birthday party in August.

Adele went Instagram official with their romance in a post on September 19 2021, which she captioned with a red heart emoji.

The singer rarely posts about Rich on social media but did use her Instagram account to hit back at rumours she cancelled her Vegas residency because she was having relationship problems.

Just weeks after she postponed her shows, the singer defiantly took to Instagram to address speculation over the status of her relationship as she jokingly told her fans her sports agent partner ‘sends his love’.

Adele and her ex Simon have maintained a close relationship, co-parenting Angelo, while Simon was seen hanging out with Rich during the star’s Hyde Park gigs this summer.

The pair, accompanied by Adele’s nine-year-old son Angelo, were spotted chatting together in the VIP area.

Proving the strength of their friendship Adele dedicated her BRIT Award winning album 30 to Simon and their son Angelo during the BRITs in February.

Adele emotionally told viewers her award was for her son and her ex-husband because the record is ‘really about them’, before crediting herself for ‘putting out something so personal’.

The star’s fourth album details her painful split from Simon, previously explaining that the album’s lead single Easy On Me was written for her son, who had questions for his parents after their split, like ‘why can’t you still live together?’.
