Adam Venit Leaving WME Over Terry Crews’ Sexual Assault Allegations

Adam Venit, the agent Terry Crews accused of sexual assault, is exiting WME.

The news comes 10 months after the Brooklyn Nine-Nine star publically named him as the Hollywood executive who grabbed his junk at a party last year.

The agency released a statement on Thursday, revealing that all parties had settled the lawsuit Crews filed last year. It read:

“Terry Crews, Adam Venit and WME have settled the lawsuit Mr. Crews filed last year. It will be dismissed.”

Venit had been put on temporary leave by the agency on November 3 after being identified as Crews’ assaulter. WME said upper management was not aware of the incident until the actor tweeted about it on October 10.

An investigation found that Venit had a history of grabby behavior and the incident with Crews was not an isolated once. He was demoted from his department-head position and suspended without pay for a month.
