‘I BATTERED him in front of everyone’: Abbey Clancy recalls punching and hurling coffee at ‘laid-back’ husband Peter Crouch after he lost their baby at a farm

Abbey Clancy has revealed she punched her husband Peter Crouch when he lost their baby during a day out at a farm. 

Speaking on Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe’s Lockdown Parenting Hell podcast, the model, 35, recalled the moment she ‘battered’ the footballer, 40, when their son Jack, 22 months, went missing and he had a ‘laid-back response’. 

She said: ‘It was so scary. I battered Pete in front of every one at the farm. I threw a cup of coffee on him. I threw the coffee and I punched him. I don’t condone violence at all but it was out of panic. I was terrified.’

Abbey, who has been married to the football ace since 2011, shares Sophia, 10, Liberty, five, Jonny, three, and Jack, one with Peter.

In her appearance on the podcast she regaled the tale of their dramatic argument and even revealed she threw a cup of coffee at the relaxed star. 

She said: ‘I went to the toilet. I was gone for one second. And I came back he was just sitting there. I said: ‘where’s the baby?’

‘We couldn’t find the baby anywhere. I was hysterical. He had escaped out of the indoor play area and was a mile down the road with lambs and a lake and everything. It was so scary. I battered Pete in front of every one at the farm.’

‘It was a nightmare I am just so worried about anything happening to them and he is far too laid back, so laid back it is a joke.

‘And he forgot the baby bag. That’s his favourite thing to do. We drove to another country farm. I should have married a farmer!…

‘It was two hours away – with a new born baby and a 12 month old, and he forgot the baby bag, so no milk, no nappies. I wanted to kill him.’

Earlier this year, Abbey recalled the ‘terrifying’ moment she discovered clumps of her hair falling out during pregnancy as she confirmed it ‘damaged’ her confidence. 

The star revealed her multiple pregnancies took a toll on her body and her skin became allergic to most products.

Speaking about her experience, she said to OK! Magazine: ‘I was so ill during pregnancy, and my skin was so reactive. It was allergic to everything, even fabrics and washing powder. I also had a lot of hair loss. 

‘It grows back, but when clumps of hair fall out when you’re washing it, it’s terrifying.

‘I had three kids in four years, so I felt like I had no hair left by the end! It’s another thing that was damaging to my confidence. It’s scary for any woman’.
