Her makeup artist and longtime friend Daniel Martin told InStyle that Prince Harry was especially smitten by his bride’s natural beauty on their wedding day. “After the ceremony Harry kept saying thank you,” he said. “He was thanking me for making her look like herself.”
For the couple’s ceremony, Markle wore soft, neutral makeup that let her natural freckles shine through. In a previous interview, Markle’s former makeup artist, Lydia Sellers, revealed that the duchess’s number one request in the chair is to make sure her freckles are “peeking through.” So it’s no surprise that Martin and Markle went for glowing, lit-from-within makeup for her nuptials.
