Kylie Minogue looks totally different after ditching her blonde blocks for a new TV role.
The pop star, 55, whose career spans nearly four decades, has had a rather busy year. Aside from dropping her smash-hit 16th album, Tension, Kylie has also ventured back into the world of acting.
As fans of the Aussie beauty will recall, she shot to fame playing Charlene Robinson on Neighbours. She has also appeared in the likes of BBC’s Doctor Who and Hollywood blockbuster San Andreas.

But for her latest role, in Binge series Strife, the music star looks completely different. Kylie looks unrecognisable after swapping her famous blonde locks for brown.
In first-look pictures of the upcoming drama, Kylie looks gorgeous in a glamorous flapper-style dress. She can be seen tucking into a meal and drinking champagne at fancy do.
Kylie plays a brunette popstar called Gwen Lewis on the show. Her character ends up feuding with magazine editor Evelyn Jones (Asher Keddie) after she publishes a photo of her that is unedited and untouched.
The show is based on the memoir by publishing giant Mia Freedman, titled Work, Strife, Balance. It follows Evelyn as she attempts to juggle her career with divorce and motherhood.
Aside from her TV work and music, Kylie has also started her long-awaited Las Vegas Residency. The Dancing hitmaker will be strutting her stuff on stage until May next year.
Spilling some secrets of the vibe of the Voltaire venue, she said: "It's based on a mix between a 1930s club and a 1970s kind of Frank Sinatra, Elvis venue where there were booths and lamps and cocktails."

She added: "Later in the evening, there will be me but prior to that it's meant to be part of a bigger experience." Kylie laps promised that the live set will include a mix of hits and surprises. She said: "I'm so excited about it. It's in a really intimate venue, it's capped at a thousand people. It's my rite of passage having my Vegas residency. We're creating a pretty punchy show for a small venue."
