United away kit
Man Utd's "atrocious" new away kit has fans saying "you cannot be serious" after it was leaked online.

Greenwood training
Mason Greenwood is sharpening up his finishing and his image as he prepares for his footballing comeback – possibly with an Italian loan move.
The suspended Manchester United striker has been undergoing private 1-2-1 coaching sessions at an £85-an-hour public pitch.
And a week after he was first pictured by The Sun, new snaps show he has discarded his long wavy hair in favour of a crew cut.
A source said: “Mason hasn’t really been out for a good few months so he hasn’t really had to bother too much with his personal appearance.
“But getting a new trim is another indication that he is going to be playing football somewhere next season.”

Man Utd fans are up in arms after footage emerged of the latest goalkeeper linked to the club.
The Red Devils have reportedly made contract over a potential move for Feyenoord shot-stopper Justin Bijlow, who is viewed as a cheaper alternative to Andre Onana and Diogo Costa.
But fans have their doubts over his signing after watching a clip of the Dutch international on social media.
In the video Bijlow almost scored an own goal while trying to pass the ball out from the back, with only the goalpost sparing his blushes.

Hojlund second bid
Man Utd are preparing a second bid of £40million to land Rasmus Hojlund.
The Red Devils’ bargain-bucket bid to get a new striker saw them have a £30m bid rejected for the Atalanta ace.
Man Utd began the summer aiming to get £100m target Harry Kane.
But Tottenham refused to do business and their second target, Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, proved too expensive.
The Italian champions were asking for £150m for the 24-year-old Nigerian striker.
Dane Hojlund, 20, scored nine goals in 32 Serie A games last season and 10 in 34 in all competitions.

Loan stars back
Erik ten Hag is set to welcome eight players back to the Manchester United first team including those returning from loan spells.
United return to pre-season training next week and there will be a few familiar faces back at Carrington.
Some, such as Eric Bailly and Alex Telles, may not be around for long after they were loaned out to Marseille and Sevilla respectively last season.
There are also several young players who could depart on loan once again – Shola Shoretire and Charlie McNeill both joined EFL clubs on a temporary basis last season.
But Amad Diallo, who had a successful loan at Sunderland last season, will be welcomed back into the first-team set-up, according to Manchester Evening News.
Meanwhile Hannibal Mejbri and Alvaro Fernandez will return to the squad following stints at Birmingham and Preston.

It is a big sum for a player who has made just 13 United appearances in the last four years.

The 30-year-old is a free agent after his contract at Nottingham Forest expired.
Lingard, who left Manchester United 12 months ago, struggled to make an impact with Steve Cooper's team and only managed two goals in 20 appearances despite his sizeable £120k-a-week salary.
Speculation had been mounting that the England international was about to join another United legend's club in America, DC United.
But boss Wayne Rooney revealed they were not interesting in buying him.
McTominay to stay

Fans slam United over wedding comment
David De Gea tied the knot to glamorous bride Edurne – and the club who made him unemployed on his wedding day were among the first to congratulate him.
But furious fans hit back at Manchester United and blasted them for "treating him terribly" and being "tone deaf" on social media.
De Gea's £375,000-a-week deal expired on Friday and he is now a free agent.
But he has been sensationally asked not to join another club despite his contract being up at United.
De Gea shared snaps of him and his new wife on Instagram and captioned them with: "We couldn't be happier!"
The well-wishes soon flooded in, with United's official Insta account among the first as they wrote alongside a love heart emoji: "Felicidades, David."

De Jong wanted by City

But Barcelona will want up to the £90million that Guardiola was prepared to pay in his attempts to sign West Ham ace Rice.
De Jong has been heavily linked with Man Utd in the past and was the club's main transfer target last year as Erik ten Hag was keen on a reunion with his ex-Ajax midfielder.
With Mason Mount on his way to Old Trafford, it's unlikely United will enter the race.

Special bond
Jose Mourinho has a strong bond with Mason Greenwood after giving him a chance as Red Devils boss.
In 2018, Mourinho picked Greenwood as a 16-year-old to go on their pre-season tour of the US.
Ex-United ace Nicky Butt revealed Mourinho identified Greenwood as a future first-team star — at 15.
Butt, who worked at United when Mourinho was boss from 2016 to 2018, said: "I was his academy boss so I wondered what it would be like.
"The reality was that he was approachable and friendly. He was single-minded and selfish — and that’s what the best managers are.
"He asked, ‘Who is this kid Greenwood?’ when Mason was 15. He said, ‘Bring him to train with us’, and I said, ‘We can’t, because he’s at school and there are rules’."
