Bake Off’s Noel Fielding teases huge rule break to give bakers second chance

Great British Bake Off host Noel Fielding sent fans wild after he teased a major rule break as he advised semi-finalists how they could have a second chance on Channel 4.

During Tuesday’s visit to the infamous white Bake Off tent, the 49-year-old and his co-host Matt Lucas welcomed viewers back to the nail-biting baking show as the final four contestants battled it out for a place in the final.

This week’s theme was patisserie week, meaning the contestants were asked to make 12 delicate desserts that looked like they could be found in a French bakery for eagle-eyed judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood.

And it’s fair to say the bakers where left shaking in their boots as they struggled to blow them away with their impressive bakes.

Now, the dad-of-two has revealed a major rule break that would allow the semi-finalists a second attempt to wow the judges during the baking competition.

As Syabira put the finishing touches to her elegant Mini Charlottes – a delicate French dessert – Noel shared one way in which the baker could re-do her impressive dish.

The star suggested that the raven-haired beauty enter the competition again next year in a cheeky disguise – complete with a fake beard and high heels – under the pseudonym, Olaf.
