A TikTok user who claims to be a 'time traveller' from the year 2236 has warned that scientists will be able to resurrect a prehistoric species of shark after they find its DNA this year.
The user, who posts under the username @realtiktoktimetraveler, posted a video with a list of events that they claim will come over the next 10 years – with everything from scientific advancements to disaster striking Earth.
Among them, they claimed that scientists will find DNA this year belonging to the extinct species of mackerel shark, known as a "megalodon" that could grow up to 60 feet.

Then in true Jurassic Park fashion, they will be able to bring one to life in 2023.
In the video, which has gained more than 38,000 likes, the self-professed 'time traveller' explained: "I am a real time traveller from the year 2236.
"I have come to this date and time to warn you about upcoming events in the next few years.
"In 2022, scientists discover a way to bring back the megalodon through using its DNA and they will create a real megalodon in 2023 and surprisingly nothing goes wrong.
"In 2025, scientists discover signs of life on 2 different planets and they are proven to be more advanced than humans.
"A meteor will come down to Earth in 2034 and will wipe out half of America."
TikTok users were divided over whether to believe the claims or not as thousands took to the comments to give their opinion.

One user said: "Which half of America though?"
Another wrote: "Idc about all that other stuff, just tell me of gas prices are gonna go back down soon?"
A third commented: "If it didn't happen on The Simpsons, I'm not buying it."
A fourth added: "Jurassic Park."
