Louise Redknapp left devastated after running over precious possession

LOUISE Redknapp was devastated after accidentally running over her sunglasses, crushing them to pieces.

The singer, 47, shared a picture of the wreckage on her Instagram account and wrote: "Has anyone else run over their sunglasses before… gutted."

The gaffe came after she shared some unseen snaps from her New Year's Eve celebrations to wish fans a happy 2022.

Louise first posted a clip of her pouting and holding up a peace sign as she travelled in the back of a taxi.

The pop star also posted a couple of photos of her with friends from the night out.

She wrote on Instagram: "A bit late posting but just wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year and all the love and luck for 2022!

"I had a fab night with my gang @lewisshawdesign @littleblondebear."

Louise's fun night out followed her hitting back at claims she was 'in despair' over ex-husband Jamie's new life with wife Frida Andersson and their baby boy Raphael.

Louise told her 726,000 followers on Instagram: "I'd really love to clarify that "Louise" is not in despair or anything like it!!

"I have my two gorgeous boys that I adore more than anything in the world, the best family around me and I'm having the best time of my life in my career and with the most wonderful friends that a girl could hope for."

Louise, who was married to the footie legend between 1998 and 2017, share two sons with Jamie – Charley, 16, and Beau, 12.

Speaking to The Sun, Louise previously revealed that her sons have been encouraging her to start dating again.

She said: “Oh yeah, they always say: ‘When are you going to [date]?’ Dating just takes time. I do eight shows in five days [Louise is currently in 9 To 5: The Musical] and on my days off, going out and having a social life is not my priority.

"It’s being a mum and stocking up the fridge. All my boys care about is me being happy – whatever that is.
