KFC is offering chicken lovers the chance to win free gravy for a whole year, with a one-of-a-kind Gravy Card.
The launch of the freebie card is to celebrate the chain selling 1.7 million pots of gravy per week, during the run-up to Christmas.
Foodies can be in with a chance of winning a year’s supply of the smooth and peppery sauce, now until December 24.
Anyone wanting to get their hands on the card should head to the KFC website and share why they’re the biggest fan of gravy.
The restaurant wants to hear all your weird and wonderful reasons why the sauce is your favourite – the more bizarre the better.
And the lucky winner won’t have to worry about buying or making gravy for a whole year. They will simply need to walk into their nearest KFC branch, flash their freebie card and enjoy a pot of gravy on the house.
There’s no denying that KFC has tapped into a passion point, as fans of the chain have gone wild for the restaurant’s Christmas gravy burger since its launch last year, and subsequent return in 2021.
As the name suggests, the burger comes with a mini chicken fillet coated in the classic KFC spice and herb blend and melted cheese, as well as a hash brown shaped to hold gravy.
And not only does it come with gravy in classic form, but also Gravynnaise (AKA gravy and mayonnaise) – a new hybrid creation from the chicken chain that’s gone down a treat.
But this isn’t the only gravy news of the week, people on TikTok are making roast chicken rubs from Bisto granules – to achieve an extra crispy and flavoursome skin.
