Aggie Bailey (played by Lorna Laidlaw) and Grace Vickers (Kate Spencer) are due to lock horns on Coronation Street when their feud reaches an all-time high next week. Aggie and her husband Ed (Trevor Michael Georges) have recently been cheated out of their life savings by the mother of their grandchild Glory. With tensions continuing to mount, will Grace end up exiting the soap with her baby?
Coronation Street fans will know Grace had blackmailed Ed and Aggie into giving her the house they were revamping so she and baby Glory could live there.
Grace swore she’d move away to Hull with the couple’s granddaughter if they didn’t bow down to her request.
In scenes yet to air on the ITV soap, the tension between Aggie and Grace will become even more palpable after Grace rubs Aggie up the wrong way once more.
With the baby staying at their home constantly, Aggie decides to confront Grace for treating her and Ed like “unpaid babysitters”.
Glory’s father Michael Feldmann (Ryan Russell) is co-parenting with Grace, but she often decides to have nights out in town and he’s left caring for her.
Aggie becomes increasingly annoyed at Grace’s reckless lifestyle and how it’s impacting on her and Ed.
A row erupts between the pair and Grace ends up taunting Aggie by saying she’d stay at home more often if Aggie buys her a comfortable sofa.
When Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) reveals how Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) and Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell) could do with some new furniture, a conniving Grace reckons that she might have some for sale.
So whose furniture is a scheming Grace planning to sell?
Aggie and Ed will need to be careful about Grace’s next move as the future doesn’t look too bright for them at the moment.
However, Grace’s plans are not set to last for long as won’t last long as it was recently revealed that the character has been axed.
A source told The Sun: “Grace and Michael’s relationship will come to an explosive head resulting in her leaving the street.
“Their relationship has been turbulent to say the least but it’s about to go up a notch once more in the Autumn.
“It’s going to be one of the major storylines on the show.
“The door has been left open for Grace to return to the street at a later date should producers decide they want her to return.”
According to the paper, Grace actress Kate has already filmed her final scenes on the ITV soap but Grace will still be on screen until the end of 2021.
Will she be leaving the soap forever, or will she come crawling back in need of Ed and Aggie’s help once again?
Coronation Street airs on ITV on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
