Danniella Westbrook’s teenage daughter looks almost identical to her mother’s character from Eastenders.

Jodie, 19, posted a snap of herself to Instagram after having her blonde hair cut into a style similar to her mother’s character from the show, Sam Mitchell.

Danniella, 47, played the character of Sam from 1990 until 2016 on the popular BBC soap.

Danniella had shared a snap of her daughter recently as she promoted her Instagram selling account, encouraging fans to go and follow the page.

In the photo of herself, Jodie captioned: “I want the fringe back”.

Fans of the pair quickly went to the comments to point out the likeness between her and her actress mother.

One said: "Looking so much like your gorgeous mother at how she used to look at that age".

Another added: "Spitting image of your beautiful mum, you’re both gorgeous."

A third echoed the same thought: "So pretty, and just like your beautiful mum".

Danniella shares Jodie with her ex husband Kevin Jenkins, whom she married just four months before Jodie’s birth.

Danniella also has a son named Kai who she shares with her ex boyfriend, Robert Fernandez.

She had famously begged Jodie’s father for a divorce on social media after five years of separation.

Jumping on Twitter, she penned: "Happy birthday to my husband of nearly 19 years Kevin Jenkins. Hope you have the most amazing birthday weekend K. But after 5 years of asking please let me give you this GIFT #DontAskDontGet #MrTA."

Danniella and Kevin had been together for 13 years before their separation in 2014.

Danniella has recently been recovering from mental health issues brought on by her experience with Covid.

The star revealed that the battle against the virus had been tough and told fans that she had “a week and a half of depression” after “coming out of covid”.

She said: “It was severe, severe depression. I was getting out of bed just to eat, sometimes not even to wash.

"Depression is in all of us and none of us can escape it, it’s just how it manifests.

"For me, it’s particularly bad since I had Covid, but I feel like I have turned the corner so thank you guys.

“Thanks to my kids for their support, they have been on the end of the phone 24/7,”
