The bosses of hit Netflix show The Crown are struggling to find an actor to play a young Prince Harry in the fifth season due to a shortage of ginger actors.
The fifth series will cover the years 1990 to 1997, and crew may have to dye an actor’s hair if they cannot successfully find a ginger boy actor.
An insider told The Sun: “Bosses have incredibly high standards when it comes to the actors they hire.
“So any wannabe cast member already has to tick a long line of boxes. But with the role of young Harry they wanted another crucial box ticking."

The source added: “That’s proved incredibly difficult but they’re determined to cast the right actor and are considering taking any steps necessary to make him look the part.”
Scientists have suggested that the regressive gene which causes people to have red hair could be dying out, so finding a young red-haired actor could prove challenging.
An estimated 1-2% of the world's population have ginger hair, but in Scotland 13% of the population are ginger.
Perhaps the Netflix casting team need to take a trip to the Highlands to find a natural red headed actor to fill the role.
Prince Harry was previously portrayed by Arran Tinker, six, who had strawberry blonde hair but didn’t feature much in series four.
A Netflix source has since denied the rumours, refuting claims that the new series had been marred by casting difficulties.
They told Deadline: “There is absolutely no struggle to cast any role for season 5 of The Crown and it is normal practice for productions to advertise in Spotlight.”
Elizabeth Debicki, 30, will play Diana in the fifth series and The Wire’s Dominic West, 51, is set to play Prince Charles.
Lesley Manville, 64, will also be joining the new series as Princess Margaret, who was previously played by Helena Bonham Carter.
The fifth season of the royal drama has big boots to fill as Emma Corrin won a golden globe for her fantastic portrayal of a young Princess Diana in series four, while Gillian Anderson also won a golden globe for playing the iron lady Margaret Thatcher.
