Chrissy Teigen have revealed she once confused celebrated Hollywood actor Michael Keaton for a champagne waiter after the Golden Globes.
The model and TV personality, 35, has admitted her post-Globes encounter with the screen legend was her most embarrassing meeting with another celebrity to date.
Asked about her best showbiz encounter on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she said: God, I think it was after the Golden Globes – oh no, this might be worst …’

Chrissy, a parent to Luna, four, and Miles, two, with husband John Legend, then recalled the awkward details of her meeting with the movie star.
She said: ‘I was drinking a lot and I saw somebody at the entrance holding a glass of champagne, so I just went up and I took it and I said “thank you,” and [John] goes, “that was Michael Keaton.”‘
After realising her mistake, Chrissy revealed she made a hasty exit, adding: ‘God, I’m so embarrassed by it still, I could die … I took it, I drank it, and I left.’

Chrissy – who has been married to John since 2013 – previously admitted to drinking too much at one point in her life.
During an interview with Cosmopolitan in 2017, Chrissy confessed to “making an a**” of herself in front of people she respected.
She explained: ‘I was, point blank, just drinking too much. I got used to being in hair and make-up and having a glass of wine.
‘Then that glass of wine would carry over into me having one before the awards show. And then a bunch at the awards show.
‘And then I felt bad for making kind of an a** of myself to people that I really respected. And that feeling, there’s just nothing like that. You feel horrible. It’s not a good look for me, for John, for anybody.’

Appearing remotely on Fallon, the mother of two also revealed her least favourite job while playing a game called ‘Best Worst First’ with the host, who spun a wheel to determine the category for each question.
She recalled: ‘I thought I had this big opportunity to be in a Red Bull commercial, but it turns out they just wanted me to be one of those girls on the beach that wear the thick flip flops and give out Red Bulls.
‘So I quit my entire job to give out free Red Bulls during the U.S. Open of Surfing. And I thought it was like my big break. I was like, ”finally, I’m going to Hollywood!”

Fallon also asked Chrissy, who has written a series of bestselling cookbooks, if she planned on branching out and opening her own restaurant.
‘I’ve looked at some incredible spaces,’ Chrissy said as she admitted to having ideas about a sit-down, fast-casual establishment.
She later shared a funny story about accidentally insulting Katy Perry, 36, after she performed her hit song Firework in January during the inauguration of President Joe Biden, which ended with a huge pyrotechnics display.
She recalled telling the pop star, ‘I typically hate fireworks, but that was beautiful. She thought Firework like the song. I wanted to die. I always do that.’
