EastEnders spoilers reveal that Sharon Watts will be put under pressure from Max Branning after he questions her about Ian Beale’s whereabouts following her deadly dinner.
Friday’s installment saw Sharon (Letitia Dean) seemingly go ahead with her plans to poison husband Ian (Adam Woodyatt) with a plate of pasta in revenge for his role in the death of her beloved son Denny.
However, the outcome of that highly-charged meal will remain a mystery, with Monday’s episode of the BBC soap revealing to be Ian missing – and Max (Jake Wood) wants answers.

And after questioning Sharon and realising that she’s made no effort to find her husband, Max becomes even more suspicious of her – but will he discover her murderous plan?
Ever since it was revealed that Sharon and ex-husband Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) were behind Ian’s attack last year, viewers have seen her make several attempts to slowly poison him.
However, after running out of pills, a recent episode saw Phil hand over a bag of white power to Sharon in a bid to kill off Ian once and for all.

And while Sharon contemplated the idea of poisoning her childhood friend, little did she know that Ian had secretly visited the doctors and got a toxicology report after Max relayed his suspicions.
It’s already known that actor Adam Woodyatt is taking a temporary break from the soap, but it remains to be seen just how his character exits Walford.
One things for sure, Sharon won’t be able to breathe easy as she faces some uncomfortable questions in the wake of Ian’s disappearance.

After becoming increasingly worried and with Sharon seemingly unfazed, the pair look set to have a tense showdown as Kathy demands answers.
Will Kathy and Max rumble Sharon’s deadly plot? And just where is Ian?
EastEnders airs Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on BBC One, with Max’s confrontation with Sharon airing Monday 25th January at 8.05pm.
