AFTER she was left broken-hearted by her bad boy ex, Vicky Pattinson believed she'd missed out on getting her happy ending.
Almost two years on however, Vicky has met the man of her dreams and it's "written in the stars" that she'll have babies with her boyfriend Ercan Ramandan.
But the former Geordie Shore star, 32, has told The Sun she refuses to rush into starting a family after "feeling the pressure" when her younger sister Laura had a baby.
Instead she's enjoying the "here and now" after feeling bad about herself in lockdown when she watched other people of her age hit certain social milestones.
"Everyone is different and we have different time to do things," Vicky told The Sun as she launches Black Tower Opens Up with Vicky Pattison.
"What’s meant to be won’t pass you by. I’ve just been rushing myself to do things that are expected of us.
"I think because my younger sister had a baby, I should be or because all of my friends are getting married then I should be.
“I just need to relax and enjoy the here and now. Ercan is such a fantastic boyfriend, I’ve got a great job that I love doing, we have a fantastic flat. Why am I rushing anything?
“But I’d be lying if I didn’t think about babies and say ‘I hope he has his skin or my nose.’
“Babies and marriage is in the stars but I’m trying to not put any pressure on myself."
Vicky faced her worst nightmare when her ex-fiancé John Noble was caught cheating on her in Dubai while she was at home planning their wedding.
Finding herself single at 30 threw Vicky's head into a spin – but looking back she knows now it was down to fate.
Nine months later she was moving in with 36-year-old Ercan and has never been happier.
She's also said to be the richest reality star out of lockdown after making £210,000 from Instagram posts.
“It’s something I’ve been repeating to myself a lot over the last six months – what seems to be the worst time ends up being the best times," says Vicky.
“When you’re in the thick of it, whether it’s a break up, a change in career or lockdown – it’s so hard to see the wood from the trees.
"You think ‘it’s never going to end or things aren’t going to go back to
normal’, but things happen for a reason.
“I look back at certain hard moments that I’ve always got through and they’ve always taught me something.
“When everything happened to me, people were like ‘are you going to trust again?’-
"I was like hang on a second, I was in a couple of failed relationships, it wasn’t men in general who wronged me.
Got a question for Vicky?
BLACK Tower wine has teamed up with former Geordie Shore star and ex-Queen of the Jungle Vicky Pattison for an Instagram Live chat.
She is going to be spilling the beans about her time in lockdown and exclusively unveil her top tips on how she kept herself happy and healthy, before taking questions from herfans.
“Everyone knows how much I love a good glass of wine and if anyone knows their way around a bottle of wine it is Black Tower.
"It’s got lovely smooth red, a great fruity white and lovely refreshing rose.
“The whole new campaign I’ve got involved with them is about opening up with friends.
"I think over lockdown we’ve all felt quite lonely at times and very isolated. We were missing the things that we look forward like seeing out friends and the social aspect of our life – so it’s nice to be involved in this campaign which encourages people to take some time for themselves, grab a glass of wine, jump on a Zoom call with their pals or invite a couple of the girls round. Just to have a little bit of
normality in your life."
If you want to ask Vicky a question, submit your question directly into the comment bar during the Instagram Live and a few lucky fans will learn a thing or two more about the reality star.
"I never closed myself off, I always believed that there was happy ever after and there is for everyone.
“I look at Ercan sometimes and think ‘God, can you ever believe that I thought I was going to be single forever’ – everything works out for a reason, it’s easy for me to say that but just have a little faith.
"I think we all just need to trust in our journey and embrace in our story. What works for one person doesn’t work for another. We all need to stop rushing stuff."
