Britain's Got Talent babe Alesha Dixon has admitted she's "hopeful" that her telly boss Simon Cowell will be well enough for the live shows after he broke part of his back.
The mum-of-two spoke to Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on This Morning and gave a small update on Simon.
She said: "I've spoken with [his partner] Lauren [Silverman], who's been keeping me updated, I've not been able to stop thinking about them all, it's absolutely horrific.
"We're all devastated but the positive thing is he's in good spirits and Lauren says slowly he's on the mend, so I've got all my fingers and toes crossed that, come the live shows, we can hopefully have Simon on the link, because we love him."
Alesha also confirmed that the live shows will begin filming at the end of this month.
She said: "We start filming the live shows at the end of the month.
"I can't wait to get back with the gang, do something light-hearted and fun."
This Morning host Ruth was dying to know whether the live Britain's Got Talent shows would have live audiences considering the ongoing social distancing measures.
And Alesha confirmed they would have an audience – it would just be a tiny bit different.
She told Eamonn and Ruth: "A virtual audience I'm being told, so we will see."
Music mogul Simon Cowell confirmed he'd injured his back after a bike accident over the weekend.
He told his 11.3million Twitter followers: "Some good advice… If you buy an electric trail bike, read the manual before you ride it for the first time.
"I have broken part of my back. Thank you to everyone for your kind messages."

He went on: "And a massive thank you to all the nurses and doctors. Some of the nicest people I have ever met. Stay safe everyone, Simon."
Simon had a six-hour surgery on Saturday after his accident on his electric bicycle at his Malibu home.
While Simon is unable to work, Since U Been Gone hitmaker Kelly Clarkson will take his place on America's Got Talent as a judge.
Kelly, who won American Idol, told her fans on Twitter: "I need to work on my British accent."
Simon went on to address the situation, saying: "Thank you Kelly Clarkson. Miss all of you. What a great show."
Could she fill in for him on the British version if Simon is still too unwell?
