DESPITE Daniel Levy's frugal reputation, Tottenham look like they could be one of the January transfer window's big spenders.

An injury to Harry Kane has forced the chairman's hand and a deal for AC Milan's Krzysztof Piatek looks all but agreed.

  • TOTTENHAM target Krzysztof Piatek grew up as an Arsenal fan and admiring Gunners legends Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp.

    SunSport revealed Spurs have agreed a deal worth £28million for the AC Milan forward, but the striker once had ambitions of playing for the red side of north London.

    “As a child I was an Arsenal fan, I really liked Wenger’s team playing style and admired champions like Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp,” he told Tuttosport in September 2019.

  • INTER MILAN chiefs are reportedly set to meet with Christian Eriksen’s agent to discuss a free transfer for next season.

    Eriksen’s Tottenham deal is up in the summer and the playmaker has repeatedly turned down approaches to extend it.

    Spurs will be without star goalscorer Harry Kane until April after confirming the England skipper needs to go under the knife to fix his hamstring injury.
