ROMAN ABRAMOVICH is set to add another stunning mansion to his evergrowing property portfolio by buying a £50million beachside pad in Israel.
The billionaire owner of Chelsea's latest acquisition will become the most expensive house in the country.
Abramovich reportedly signed a rental agreement for the property earlier this year with an option to buy it.
It is understood that the 53-year-old is now ready to splash the cash for the property in the beachside town on Hertzliya.
The mansion will be his second property in Israel after he purchased the Varsano boutique hotel in Tel Aviv Neve Tzedek.
He paid £17.1m for the property from Yaron Varsano in 2015, who is the husband of Israeli actress Gal Gadot.
It was reported in November 2018 that he is planning to double the size of the house by adding six more bedrooms, a courtyard and an underground car park.
Abramovich became a citizen in the State of Israel in May 2018 after the UK Home Office refused to renew his visa to live in England.
As a result, the 53-year-old has not been to London to watch the Blues play since April 2018.
With an estimated net worth of £10.5billion, it comes as no surprise that Abramovich has properties all over the world.
He owns a massive mansion at Kensington Palace Garden – dubbed 'billionaires row' – which he bought for £90m in 2009.
For when he wanted to be closer to Stamford Bridge, the Blues owner would relax in his eye-watering apartment on Chelsea Waterfront.
Abramovich also owns a Bond-style ski lodge and ranch in the US, his Caribbean retreat and a chateau in the south of France.
But it is the 53-year-old's £380m superyacht – equipped with a missile defence system and submarine – that hit the headlines this summer.
