The final ever series of Power has passed its halfway point on Starz and with episode nine on its way, the action doesn’t appear to be slowing down soon. After episode eight, titled Deal with the Devil, aired last week, the next episode will have to deal with the aftermath of Lakeisha’s (played by La La Anthony) death and it’s safe to say Tommy (Joseph Sikora) is seeking revenge. Here’s what will happen judging by the promo.
What will happen in Power season 6, episode 9?
The promo for the next episode opens with Tommy on the phone.
Clearly reeling from Lakeisha’s death, Tommy is on the phone to Ghost (Omari Hardwick) and the conversation does not appear to be going well.
Ghost says: “Tommy, look man, it’s all going to be over soon.”
Tommy, presumably thinking Ghost is behind Lakeisha’s death, menacingly says: “Yeah. It is.”

However, the most telling part from the next episode comes in the next scene as Tommy meets with Detective Blanca Rodriguez (Monique Gabriela Curnen).
Tommy has never been one to meet with law enforcement – has Lakeisha’s death pushed him down a different path?
Blanca tells Tommy: “Lakeisha agreed to testify against you.”
Tommy hits back and says: “She weren’t gonna say s*** against me, that was my girl until the end.”
Power fans know, however, that was exactly Lakeisha’s plan all along.

The drama between Tommy and the police isn’t the only hot issue to come up in the next episode.
Ghost is shown meeting with drug lord Jason (Mike Doped).
He tells him: “I need a silent partner. Emphasis on silent.”
Next up is Saxe (Shane Johnson) trying to convince Tasha (Naturi Naughton) to flip on Ghost.
He asks her: “Time after time you cover for James. Would he do the same for you?”

Before fans can see if Tasha flips on her ex, she’s shown issuing Ghost a stark warning.
Tasha tells him: “You better watch your every move.”
Ghost’s problems don’t stop there as Councilman Tate (Larenz Tate) will continue his feud with him in the next episode.
However, now, Councilman Tate has some key information on Ghost.
The promo ends with the politician telling Ghost: “I know who you are James, or should I say Ghost.”
Power season 6, episode 9 will air on Stars on Sunday, October 20 and on Netflix on October 21.
