Val Kilmer makes rare public appearance at Monster Energy $50K Charity Challenge Basketball Game
Val Kilmer showed his support for the Monster Energy $50K Charity Challenge Basketball game to get his week started on Monday.
The 59 year old actor was spotted posing with entrepreneurs Brad Koepenick and Dominic Kalms, plus a number of women sporting Monster Energy apparel.
Kilmer was last spotted in public with Koepenick and Kalms in June, during a fundraiser for Kilmer’s Twain Media foundation.

Kilmer was wearing a white dress shirt which had a powder blue line down the buttons and had a message that read ‘Don’t hate debate’ in powder blue.
He also had a number of scarves around his neck, which the actor has been seen wearing in recent months to cover up his trachea surgery.
He was also wearing black pants along with a number of elaborate necklaces around his neck during the event, held at UCLA Pauley Pavilion in Westwood, California.

Kilmer founded the TwainMania Foundation after writing the script for his 2016 film Cinema Twain, which he starred in as Mark Twain and also directed.
The actor has been touring the country, putting on his one-man show, also entitled Cinema Twain, while continuing to work in film and television.
While he doesn’t have any movie projects hitting theaters this year, he will return as the iconic Iceman in Paramount’s Top Gun: Maverick, a follow-up to the 1986 classic Top Gun.

Kilmer will reunite with Tom Cruise as Pete “Maverick” Mitchell in the sequel, which Paramount has slated for release on June 26, 2020.
Kilmer also stars in Soldier’s Heart with AnnaLynne McCord and Jake Busey and Riptide with Chace Crawford and Henry Thomas.
He is also slated to portray Mark Twain yet again in the upcoming Mark Twain and Mary Baker Eddy, which he will also star in and direct.

Others in attendance at the event included Snoop Dogg, who was wearing a white shirt, white Adidas pants and a black Lakers jacket with Converse All-Stars.
The Bachelor star Colton Underwood was also in attendance, rocking an athletic and casual look with a white hoodie, black shorts and white sneakers.
Valentin Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson also shared a kiss on the red carpet before the big game.
