How 'Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants' Costars 'Support' Each Other as Moms

Girl gang goals! America Ferrera shared how she and her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants costars have helped each other as new moms.

“We definitely have all been together with the babies, and we’ve all met each other’s babies,” the actress, 35, told Us Weekly exclusively on Wednesday, May 1, at Paley Center presents Superstore: An Evening in Cloud 9. “They’re really there for me as a source of support and advice, and we’re very much leaning on each other through motherhood.”

The Ugly Betty alum and her husband, Ryan Piers Williams, welcomed their 11-month-old son, Sebastian, in May 2018. Ferrera’s former costars have also been growing their families.

Blake Lively shares daughters James, 4, and Inez, 2, with Ryan Reynolds, while Amber Tamblyn welcomed her 14-month-old daughter, Marlow, with David Cross in 2017. Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser’s son was born in 2015.

As far as sharing the 2005 movie with her son in the future, Ferrera hasn’t made up her mind yet. “He’s way too young to know or to care,” she told Us. “I think it’ll be many, many years before I’m sharing any of my work with him. And I don’t know, he’ll probably just be mortified to see his mom as a 20-year-old playing 16.”

For now, she’s enjoying bringing Sebastian on the set of Superstore where she breastfeeds the little one “in the dressing room.”

“I think all the time about how lucky I am, and how rare it is for a work environment to be conducive to working mothers and new mothers whose babies are demanding so much from them physically,” the Superstore star told Us. “There’s not a day that I don’t think about how insanely lucky I am.”

Superstore airs on NBC Thursdays at 8 P.M.
