In the dark! Olivia Wilde’s 4-year-old son, Otis, may have a talented mom, but he has no idea.
“My son watched all of Tron and didn’t recognize me the entire time,” the Life Itself star, 35, told Us Weekly exclusively at A Vigilante special screening on Wednesday, March 27. “And I was, like, waiting. I was like, ‘Hey? What do you think?’ And he was like, ‘Mom. Go away. I’m watching a movie!’”
The actress, who also shares 2-year-old daughter, Daisy, with Jason Sudeikis, added: “I have to make something that they can watch. I have to make some child content.”
As for her fiancé, 43, the little ones are big fans of his work. “They love to laugh and their dad is hilarious,” Wilde told Us. “So they love watching his ‘What Up With That’ sketch on SNL.”
Otis was born in 2014 and became a big brother when Daisy arrived two years later. After her daughter’s birth, the O.C. alum started filming for A Vigilante and had to lose a lot of baby weight.
“I went right into training and I did a mixture of Krav Maga and weight training and aerobics. I had gained like 70 pounds having Daisy, and I had to really shed a lot of fat,” she told Us. “I was really inspired by the precise lessons of Krav Maga as a kind of art form. It’s a really interesting martial art.”
Instead of simply dropping pounds and “getting ripped for a film,” Wilde felt like the practice “changed my mindset about my own strength and body.”
Wilde and Sudeikis have been together since 2011, and Us confirmed in January 2013 that they got engaged.
