I'm A Celeb flop Noel Edmonds returning to Saturday night TV after 10 years with guest spot on All Round To Mrs Brown's

NOEL Edmonds will be making his return to Saturday night TV after 10 years away with a guest spot on hit BBC show, All Round to Mrs Brown’s.

The news will shock many as he has not been seen in a prime-time Beeb show since 1999 when he hosted Noel’s House Party.

Since then the TV personality has had a prickly relationship with the channel after he famously claimed he wanted to buy the BBC.

The former Deal or No Deal presenter blasted: “Its entertainment department was closed down when we ran out of ideas of how to entertain the public in a way in which they found entertaining.”

Last year he accused them of “fakery” and also once claimed to have never paid his licence fee.

But after his stint on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! where he divided viewers, it seems he’s back in favour with BBC bosses.

In the new series of All Round To Mrs Brown’s, which stars comedian Brendan O'Carroll as Agnes Brown, will see Noel camp it up and even take part in a sketch set in Agnes’s son Rory’s hair salon – Wash & Blow.

Brendan says: “Noel was happy as Larry hosting one of the game shows in the hairdressing salon.”

The new series of the show launches on Saturday on BBC One at 9.15pm.
