Fans of the ITV singing competition were shocked by the revelation, which came before he auditioned for the four judges in tonight's episode of the show.
Harrisen Larner-Main's mum Karen made the confession in the hopeful's video trailer, saying: "Harrisen's my little boy, even though he's 6'4.
"I am still doing his washing, tidying his room, and clearing up after him in the bathroom."
Viewers slammed Harrisen on social media – with some even poking fun at the all white outfit that he wore for his audition, quipping that he doesn't have to worry about washing it.
One fan wrote: "Harrison on #TheVoiceUK needs to get a f***ing grip and wash his own clothes."
Another added: "Harrisen. Help your mum out for Christ sake pick up your socks you lazy a**."
A third said: "He can wear white denim if he's got someone else to do his washing."
Harrisen also sparked a reaction for his uncanny resemblance to Queen's Brian May – with viewers also drawing comparisons between him and Weird Al Yankovic, Sideshow Bob, Moana's Maui, and even Jesus.
One viewer joked: "Quite like this version of Brian May."
Another tweeted: "If they turn for Sideshow Bob, I'll f***ing scream."
Despite the online backlash, Harrisen was left overjoyed when both Olly Murs and Jennifer Hudson turned for him following his rendition of John Hiatt's Have A Little Faith In Me.
He ended up joining Olly's team – much to the former X Factor star's excitement.
