Kim Kardashian is 'stressed and upset' about husband Kanye West's increasingly eccentric outbursts

The rapper, 41, faced huge criticism for his bizarre meeting with President Trump this week, and now even wife Kim, 37, has grown "uncomfortable" with his behaviour.

Kanye sparked concerns for his health when he made a frenzied ten-minute monologue in front of the President, before he was filmed jumping on a table in an Apple Store and ranting after the meeting.

But it's not only fans who were taken aback by his behaviour, with his reality star wife Kim also "unhappy" with the attention he is drawing.

A source told PEOPLE: "Kim is very uncomfortable and unhappy with the whole situation.

"She finds Kanye brilliant, so it makes her upset when he goes on these public rants and come across as someone who isn't well.

"It's stressful for her. She knows he isn't healthy right now, but it's impossible to get across to him. All she can do is hope that he calms down mentally soon."

The insider added that Kim's famous family are also concerned, but know it "won't happen" unless Kanye realises it too.

They continued: "The entire family is at the end of their ropes, and stuff like this won't help.

"No one close to him can tell him that he's sounding unhinged, because his answer is that the President of the United States doesn't think so."

During the meeting, Kanye claimed doctors had misdiagnosed him with bipolar disorder, and that he was simply battling severe sleep deprivation.

He said: "What I think is we don't need sentences, we need pardons. We need to talk to people.

"I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, I was connected with a neuropsychologist that works with the athletes in the NBA and NFL.

"He looked at my brain. I wasn't actually bipolar, I had sleep deprivation which can cause dementia 10 to 20 years from now when I wouldn't even remember my son's name."

Kanye – who shares North, five, Saint, two, and Chicago, eight months, with Kim – had previously been open about his bipolar disorder.

He explained: "I think it's important for us to have open conversations about mental health – especially with me being black.

"Because we never had therapists in the black community. We never approached taking a medication."

Kanye discussed a wide range of topics with the President, including his future career in politics and his ideas for a new presidential vehicle and even the axing of Air Force One.

Trump remained silent for several minutes during his speech, before remarking: “I tell you what, that was pretty impressive folks… that was quite something.”

Kanye faced huge backlash from the Showbiz world for the meeting, with former friends 50 Cent, T.I, Beyonce and Jay-Z cutting tied with the rapper.
