Jamie Dornan has Graham Norton Show viewers in hysterics as he reveals he pooed in the bath while sleepwalking aged 11

The actor, 36, struggled to contain his own laughter as he revealed he once pooed in the bath while asleep, aged 11.

Jamie recalled the awkward moment he was caught out by his dad on the show, in front of viewers and fellow guests Whoopi Goldberg, Rosamund Pike and Harry Connick Jr.

He explained: "I woke up and my dad was at the end of my bed and he said, "Do you think you slept walked last night?"

"And I said "No, not really, I don't usually do that sort of thing…" and he just goes "Well, someone's done a poo in the bath.""

Leaving the audience in stitches, he added with a laugh: "And by process of elimination with my sister and stuff… yeah, it was me."

Viewers immediately took to Twitter to comment on the hilarious story, writing: "Someone’s done a poo in the bath omg Jamie Dornan tells the best stories on Graham Norton I’m crying hahahahaha"

And: "I was definitely NOT expecting that response!", followed by a string of laughing emojis.

Another added: "I can’t stop laughing!"

While another wrote cheekily: "I'd let Jamie Dornan poo in my bath tbh."

One even shared a snap of the full sofa line-up, which saw Jamie sitting slightly further away from the other guests, alongside the caption: "When you've just told an inappropriate but hilarious poo story, and are feeling proud, but everyone else is still a little shocked and has distanced themselves from you"

The hilarity didn't stop there however, as Jamie later asked to be the new member of K-pop band BTS, after their member Jimin was forced to pull out of the show due to injury.

Jamie was on the show to promote his new biographical drama A Private War, which stars Rosamund as journalist Marie Colvin.

The promotional trail comes after it was revealed he is expecting his third child with wife Amelia Warner last week.
