The overwhelming talking point from this series of Celebrity Big Brother has been the drama surrounding Roxanne Pallett and her allegations that Ryan Thomas hit her while they were playfighting.
Even though she left the house a week ago and has apologised for her actions in interviews since then, the story isn’t going away anytime soon.
Now that another housemate has left the show, we want to know how it looked from the inside.
Speaking to Digital Spy and other media, Hardeep Singh Kohli said that even on launch night, Roxanne’s ‘fall’ into the pool wasn’t what it seemed.
He said: “From the opening night, I pretended to throw Chloe into the pool and Roxanne jumped in. There was no physical contact.
“But one ought not to be surprised, and I’m a professional interviewer. My job is to read people and see situations. There is a part of me that has a personal and pastoral concern about Roxanne. I wish her the very best.“
Speaking about the drama between her and Ryan, he added: “Truth and facts are essential to everything we do. When you start creating truth and embellishing facts… I think there’s no coming back from that.”
“It’s frustrating to me because she also has talent. She was very quick-witted, she’s a very talented actor. It is what it is… Bizarrely, even though I’m there, I have a very different perspective because I don’t see everything that’s happening.”
Despite his own disagreements with Ryan, Hardeep says he stands by him and tips him to win the show.
“Listen, Ryan and I had our differences, he’ll tell you that. But I was privileged to spend time with such a fine young man, with such love for his family and such ability to express that love and that joy,” Hardeep added.
“He’s going to win this and he deserves it! He shouldn’t be as nice and lovely and down-to-earth as he is.”
