Kanye West shares a private text exchange he had with wife Kim Kardashian’s estranged stepparent, Caitlyn Jenner.
Just because Caitlyn Jenner is on the outs with the Kardashian family doesn’t mean Kanye West has any beef with her.
On Wednesday evening, Kim Kardashian’s hubby shared a screenshot of a text conversation he had with Caitlyn. In the exchange, Caitlyn sent Kanye a photo of her rumored girlfriend, Sophia Hutchins, decked out in Yeezy gear.
"Sophia loved the first set of looks your team left and went all Yeezy for her travel outfit today!" Caitlyn wrote. "We love your looks!! Thanks again."
Kanye simply replied, "So awesome. [You’re] welcome."

It would appear the two had a pleasant exchange prior to Wednesday’s conversation because the last thing Kanye sent Caitlyn was a series of emojis signifying thanks and praise. Seems like the two are actually on good terms despite Kim’s fallout with Caitlyn last year following the publication of the latter’s memoir, "Secrets of My Life."
In the tell-all, Caitlyn made claims about Robert Kardashian Sr. that Kim said were entirely untrue.
"I have always had Caitlyn’s back, but she is a liar. She is not a good person," Kim said during a September 2017 episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." She made similar comments to Ellen DeGeneres.
That same month, Caitlyn appeared on "Good Morning Britain," where she said, "I went overboard to be nice, to be friendly, to be open, but also tell my story and my side of the story. Since the book came out, I’ve never talked to Kris [Jenner] again. Kim I haven’t talked to in six, nine months, whatever it is."
Caitlyn made similar comments a few months later, telling students at Cambringe Union, "It’s been a little bit tough over the last couple of years on the Kardashian side. To be honest, I don’t talk to them anymore. Kim I haven’t talked to in a year."
Regarding her relationship with Sophia, Caitlyn has previously called the young woman her "best friend" while her rep denied any romance over a year ago when asked by the media. Sophia, on the other hand, played coy with fans when grilled about the rumored romance in a recent Instagram Q&A.
Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time Kanye shared a private text conversation with his 28 million Twitter followers.
Back in April, Kanye divided what felt like all of Hollywood after publicizing his "love" for "brother" President Donald Trump.
"You don’t have to agree with Trump, but the mob can’t make me not love him," the rapper/designer tweeted. "We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don’t agree with everything anyone does. That’s what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought."
Among those who responded to Kanye’s profession was John Legend. Although he never mentioned Kanye by name, John called him out in a series of tweets. He also sent Kanye a private message, which Kanye then shared on Twitter for all to see.
"Hey, it’s JL. Hope you’ll reconsider aligning yourself with Trump," the text from John showed. "You’re way too powerful and influential to endorse who he is and what he stands for. As you know, what you say really means something to your fans. They are loyal to you and respect your opinion. So many people who love you feel so betrayed right now because they know the harm that Trump’s policies cause, especially to people of color. Don’t let this be part of your legacy. You’re the greatest artist of our generation."
John later shared his thoughts on Kanye exposing their private conversation, telling Hot 97’s Ebro Darden, "I’m not mad people saw it because at least they know where I’m coming from. I didn’t actually mind it after I thought about it for a second, but I was shocked when it first happened. I think Kanye, when he talks about Trump, he’s thinking about him more as a marketing triumph. I think he sees certain aspects of himself in Trump. He sees how brash he is and that he doesn’t give a f–k, how nobody believed he was gonna win, how he defied all the odds and became president."
"He’s talking about free thought, and Trump doesn’t even want a free press," John continued. "I don’t see how you align yourself with that and say you’re operating yourself from love."
He added, "These MAGA folks are all over his nuts right now, and as soon as he says something about Taylor Swift, these are the same people calling him the N-word."
