Hasselbaink's 69 goals had come in just 136 Prem matches for Chelsea.
Hazard, 27, does still have some way to go to make it into Chelsea's top two.
Sitting ahead of him is Didier Drogba, who scored 104 Premier League goals in 254 matches across two spells at Stamford Bridge.
