Sex offender Bradley Tout, 20, leapt from the dock and fled seconds after being found guilty of raping a 16-year-old girl

Bradley Tout, 20, dodged three prison officers and two barristers during his escape.

After vaulting the 3ft dock, he ricocheted off walls as he ran out of Worcester crown court on Wednesday.

A security guard who tried to stop him suffered minor injuries.

Tout and Kulin Odedra, 28, had just been convicted of raping a girl aged 16.

As family members in the public gallery shouted “he’s innocent”, Tout fled.

A witness said: “With a sudden violent motion he vaulted over the dock wall, catching his feet on the edge, stumbling slightly as he ran away.

“He  regained his balance only to crash hard into a wall with his shoulder and then into another wall as he sprinted off. The alarms were going off  and the security guards looked very worried  they’d lost him.

“It was high drama.” Judge Nicolas Cartwright told the jury: “Well, I’ve never seen anything like that happen before.” Yesterday Tout, of Worcester, was jailed in his absence for  7½ years. Odedra got 11½ years.

Cops were hunting fugitive Tout.  His father Matthew, 38,  wrote on Facebook: “I don’t know where my son is but of course I want him to hand himself in.”
