I'm A Celeb fans horrified as HUGE spider crawls over Nick Knowles' head in nightmare Bushtucker Trial

The DIY SOS star kept his cool while viewers lost the plot over the creepy crawlies running over his body.

A Bushman had to pull a large spider off the top of Nick's head after the trial had finished, leaving Holly Willoughby squealing on the sidelines.

Terrified viewers wrote on Twitter: "I’m a celeb doesn’t half give me the creeps. NOOOOOO THANK U ??????.

"i’m a celeb is a joke i would genuinely rather just die on the spot than do most of that man.

"I physically can not watch those spiders on I’m a celeb ??‍♂️??‍♂️??‍♂️.

"Don’t know why I’m watching I’m a celeb deffo going to have nightmares of things crawling on me ?.

"no i couldn’t do that one on i’m a celeb no way folks them spiders are bigger than my brain."

Fleur and Sair were up for the first part of the trial called Biteus Intensius. The two of them had to stand side by side in a cage where they had three minutes to move a star down a thread to a red bolt using only their tongues. The cages also contained green ants.

They stood next to each other and started to manoeuvre the stars to the bottom of the thread. Fleur had an impressive technique and completed her task where as Sair was slightly slower. However, both campmates completed the Trial and won both stars.

"Oh my god, I’ve got ants in my pants, that’s what is feels like,” said Fleur. "It’s like they had a map to my hoo-har.”

Next up were James McVey and Nick, who took on Crittercus Maximus.

The two of them had to lie in a cage with their heads touching in the middle. They had three minutes to undo the knots on their respective ropes to release a star.

Nick and James got into the cage and laid on their backs with goggles covering their eyes. Five rangers then appeared and poured 5kgs of mealworms, 5000 crickets, 5000 cockroaches, 20 scorpions and 20 large spiders onto them.

As the other campmates watched, Nick encouraged James as they both started untying the knots to release their stars.

“Thank god he’s got Nick in there,” said Emily as she watched the two manipulating the ropes.

“Just ignore them (the crittters)” said Nick as the critters climbed over them.

They both released their stars with seconds to spare.

Fleur and Sair and Nick and James won a total of four stars.
