Tamera Mowry and her family have carried on with their lives after last week’s tragic Borderline Bar shooting, but the actress is still in mourning over the loss of her beloved niece.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, 19-year-old Alaina Housley was one of the victims who died at the hands of crazed gunman Ian Long.
This Monday, Mowry, 40, honored her late niece in a post about her son’s intimate birthday party.

“Happy 6th birthday Aden! Alaina was excited to come to your birthday party. But as you said buddy, ‘She lives in your heart now.’ We love you,” Mowry captioned a sweet photo of her young son with Housley.

Radar readers recall that moments after the deadly shooting, Mowry responded to Housley’s suitemate’s Twitter comment about how she was still missing. The Sister, Sister star continued to update fans on the case, saying they were hoping for a miracle despite the fact that they hadn’t heard from Housley.
Hours later, Radar spoke to Housley’s heartbroken father, who said the only people who had not been identified were the deceased and that same day, Mowry confirmed the sad news of Housley’s death.
The devastated family will bury Alaina Housley later this week near Napa.
