The 31-year-old's biggest achievement was holding the WBC welterweight belt in 2011 before he lost it in a fourth-round knockout to Floyd Mayweather Jr.

On September 26, 2018, the former boxing champion was charged with raping a woman inside a home in March.
Police in Oxnard say 31-year-old Ortiz turned himself into Ventura County Sheriffs on Tuesday afternoon.
Cops revealed the district attorney filed charges after a month-long investigation, and Ortiz surrendered after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
The Ventura County Sheriff's website shows that Ortiz posted $100,000 bail and was released.
What are the rape allegations?
According to court records, the alleged incident took place on March 19. Police were later contacted that same day and filed a report accusing Ortiz of sexual assault.
He now faces several sex charges including rape when he appears in court on Oct. 10.
It's not the first time Ortiz has been in trouble with the law, he was previously arrested for DUI back in 2016.
In 2015, he was arrested after an alleged assault with a deadly weapon at a Kenny Chesney concert at the Rose Bowl.
