Much of the UK is enjoying warm, sunny weather for the first time in days today, with beaches along the south coast busy again.
Sun-worshippers should make the most of it as tropical Storm Ernesto is spinning across the Atlantic towards the UK, bringing 45mph winds and heavy rain.
Parts of the North of England, Wales, southern Scotland and Northern Ireland have already been suffering downpours today – but worse is set to come on Saturday night and into Sunday.
Met Office forecaster Becky Mitchell told The Sun Online: "It's going to be quite wet across northern and western areas today, with the highest amount of rain being 40mm (1.5ins) in Cumbria.
"There's also going to be strong wind, particularly over high areas like the Pennines, with the strongest gusts being up to 40mph.
"But further south and east, it's going to be drier with some bright spells. It's going to be warmest in the south, with highs of 23C. And it's definitely going to feel more humid."
Yesterday experts revealed that the heatwave could return next week – but Brits will have to put up with wind and rain this weekend due to Storm Ernesto.
The storm is is set to divide Britain when it arrives on Saturday night.
By the time it reaches the UK it will no longer be classed as a tropical storm – however it will still bring 45mph gusts of wind and an inch of rain.

It will batter parts of the Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and South West England – while the south will continue to enjoy temperatures of up to 24C.
Speaking about the weekend's forecast, she said: "It's going to be a fairly north south split tomorrow.
"In the north, it's going to be quite windy with some rain in places. It's going to be lightest during the day, but heavier rain will arrive Saturday evening and overnight.
"Again, there will be quite a lot of rain to Cumbria and parts of Scotland, with ex-tropical storm Ernesto coming through in the evening and overnight. Further south it should stay fairly dry, with bright spells of 24C.
"It's going to be windiest across Wales overnight, with top winds reaching 40-45mph. Rain could reach 10-15mm across Scotland, Northern Ireland, northern England and Wales. On higher ground, it could reach 40mm.
"But by Sunday afternoon, it's going to be drier and brighter – most places should be dry by the afternoon.
"It's going to be mostly cloudy with some warmer spells, and it could feel quite humid."
