A shooting has broken out at the home of Star Wars actress Billie Lourd in Los Angeles after an altercation between construction workers.
Police responded to the incident at the actress’s Beverly Hills home, where renovations are underway.
Lourd is combining her mother Carrie Fisher’s and grandmother Debbie Reynold’s Hollywood properties together to create an $18 million mega estate.
An argument broke out between two construction workers, one of whom had been fired. The disgruntled former employee pulled out a rifle, police sources told TMZ.

Law enforcement sources said he aimed at the other construction worker, but then fired at the ground and left the scene.
There were no injuries and Lourd, 28, was not home at the time of the incident. No arrests have been made but police are investigating the shooting.
The shooting comes as American Horror Story actress Lourd started a complete renovation of her mother Carrie Fisher’s and grandmother Debbie Reynold’s neighbouring Beverly Hills homes.
Fisher and Reynolds lived side-by-side in the two California properties for more than 15 years before they tragically died within a day of each other in December 2016.

The houses were put up for sale together as one 3.5 acre estate the following year but now Lourd, is renovating the lot, reportedly worth $18 million, to make room for her growing family.
She surprised the world in September when she welcomed her first child, Kingston Fisher Lourd Rydell, with fiancee Austen Rydell.
The details of the renovation work are not yet clear, but it is understood the iconic features of Fisher’s old home – where Lourd grew up – are likely to be preserved.

Lourd’s childhood home is full of her mother’s mismatched vintage furniture and collectibles, including a huge stained-glass window of Lourd in the living room made for Fisher by a friend in England.
