A series of shootings at three Atlanta-area massage parlors left at least seven people dead and two others injured Tuesday, according to local reports.
A gunman opened fire shortly before 5 p.m. in Young’s Asian Massage Parlor near Acworth in Georgia’s Cherokee County, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
Less than an hour later, four more people were killed in shootings at two other massage parlors on Piedmont Road in Atlanta, law enforcement officials told the newspaper.
Officials have not said if the shootings were related, according to the report.
All four victims of the Atlanta shootings appeared to be Asian women who were gunned down inside the businesses, the Journal-Constitution said.
Authorities in Cherokee County are hunting for a suspect reportedly wearing a red and black hoodie who fled in a black Hyundai SUV.
