Mum says daughter is finally 'at peace' after she died 20 months on from petrol bomb arson blaze that killed her 4 kids

A DEVASTATED mum today said her daughter was finally "at peace" after she died 20 months on from an arson attack that killed her four kids.

Michelle Pearson, 37, suffered devastating burns in the Walkden house fire – started by a petrol bomb attack – in 2017.

And her mum Sandra Lever today paid tribute to her, saying: "I am proud to have you as my daughter Michelle.

"I miss you so much but you needed the children more.

"You gained your wings and joined them. You suffered for so long it now time to be put at peace. Love you XX."

She also shared a photo of candles laid out spelling her daughter's name.

Michelle's daughter Demi, 15, son Brandon, eight, and girls Lacie, seven, and Lia, three, died in the inferno at her home in Walkden, Greater Manchester in December 2017.

The mum herself had suffered burns to 75 per cent of her body, spending five months in a coma.

You gained your wings and joined them. You suffered for so long it now time to be put at peace. Love you XX.

Now a former chief prosecutor has called for convicted killers Zak Bolland and David Worrall to be charged with murder following the death of Michelle.

Nazir Afzal who brought the notorious Rochdale grooming gang to justice in 2012, tweeted: "Those convicted of the murder of her children now need to be charged with her murder."

In May last year Bolland, then 23, was convicted of four counts of murder and three of attempted murder and was handed a minimum 40-year sentence.

His friend Worrall, then 26, was also convicted of the four murders and three counts of attempted GBH and was handed a 37-year sentence.

Bolland's then girlfriend Courtney Brierley was found guilty of four counts of manslaughter and was jailed for 21 years.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said the force would be 'liaising with the CPS’ with regards to potential additional charges.

'FLY HIGH WITH YOUR FOUR ANGELS'

Touching tributes have today been left outside her home in Salford, Greater Manchester, this morning.

One read: "Miss you loads R kid. Fly high with your babies. No pain no more. Can't wait to see you again. See you all again. Love your baby sis Claire and fatman Karson."

Another said: "Miss you auntie Shell, wish you were here. At least you're back with your four angels. I love you so much. You're the best. Love Willie."

Flowers were also left in the front garden of the house, which remains a burnt out shell, alongside the cards.

Another message, from nephew Christopher, read: "To auntie Shell, fly high with your four angels.

"You always looked after me. We had lots of laughs and jokes, I hope you're happy. Love Christopher."

Another message said "Forever in our hearts. You're free from pain, back with your four angels. All fly high. Truly missed" while a third read "So proud of you Shell. You fought for so long, now you're free and at peace with your babies. You'll never be forgotten."
