Florida congressman Matt Gaetz — who’s reportedly facing a federal criminal probe for allegedly enticing a minor to travel for sex — is engaged to 26-year-old Ginger Luckey, a Harvard business school student who lives in California.

Gaetz — who has strenuously denied the new allegations — met Luckey in March 2020 at a fundraiser at former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida.

She later told the Daily Mail she’d been “dragged” to the event by her mother but about nine months later, she agreed to marry the congressman after he popped the question on Dec. 30, 2020, at the same place they met during a holiday celebration at the resort.

“It was actually ‘duh,’” Luckey told the outlet of what she said when Gaetz proposed.

“It didn’t come as a surprise, I had sort of seen it coming.”

Luckey’s brother is Palmer Luckey, who founded the virtual reality company Oculus VR before selling it to Facebook for about $2 billion in 2014.

While she and Gaetz are based on opposite sides of the US, Luckey told the Mail her job went totally remote last March at the start of the pandemic so she spent time “traveling with him everywhere” and said she is the lawmaker’s “travel buddy.”

The California native is currently an analyst with Apeel, a company that works to reduce food waste, and graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2016 with a degree in economics and accounting, her LinkedIn profile shows.

As of this year, she appears to be enrolled at Harvard’s online business school and studying sustainable business strategy, the profile says.

She told the Mail the pair were in no rush to tie the knot and were considering a wedding “between now and 2024.”

“We are flexible and have no timespan yet,” she said at the time.

“Matt wants an Elvis impersonator to preside. I want multiple venues, so we’ll see.”

On Tuesday, the New York Times reported federal authorities are probing whether Gaetz had sex with a 17-year-old girl and violated sex trafficking laws.

Citing three sources, The Times reported the investigation stemmed from an existing probe into one of Gaetz’s political allies, Joel Greenberg, who was indicted last summer on charges including sex trafficking of a child.

Gaetz, 38, has denied the allegations and said he is cooperating with the FBI.

“In the strongest possible terms. I deny that I have ever been with someone underage,” he told The Post Tuesday. “That is false.”

He claims the allegations are a result of an extortion attempt.
