Marks and Spencer slammed for letting men post online reviews of their women’s undies – The Sun

M&S is under fire for letting men post online reviews of its knickers and bras.

The retailer’s website has dozens of write-ups — all of which have passed moderators — by men trying on women’s undies.

It comes after the store was savaged for allowing men to try on clothes in women’s changing rooms, despite concerns over safety and privacy.

Now, shoppers fear the male reviews will only encourage more fetishists.

One Mumsnet user commented: “M&S cannot be unaware of the thrill found by men in wearing female underwear and then proclaiming their enjoyment online.”

The growing number of male reviewers has sparked fears the M&S site is becoming a magnet for fetishists.

Half of the ten reviews of silky knickers, designed by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, were by men. One wrote: “Great fit even though not exactly designed for what I have to fit in it.”

Another reviewer said knickers were comfy and “better than any male underwear I’ve owned”.

M&S said it encouraged reviews and feedback to help other shoppers.

It added: “They are moderated to ensure they are appropriate for all customers to read.”
